Green Banner is a fully independent events company dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences. With no outside strings attached or hidden agendas, we focus solely on delivering the kind of events our community truly wants. Independence allows us to stay authentic, responsive, and community-driven.

As a professional, full-time events company, we live and breathe this work. Our events are designed with care and precision—led by world-class judges, backed by top players, and featuring award experiences that participants are proud of. Every Green Banner event blends intense competition with a culture that prioritizes fun and inclusivity.

2022

The need was clear and the idea was born — three friends in tabletop wargaming came together to make epic events happen

2023

The inaugural Cali Cup lands in San Diego that November, raising the bar for competitive events and proving the mission resonates with the community

2024

A growth year — Kicker joins as the fourth member of the team, a long-term plan takes shape, and the launch of the Green Banner league grows the community significantly

2025

A massive launch year — the inaugural Challengers Cup sets a whole new standard in competitive play, and four more launches bring Green Banner to six major events in one year

2026

Green Banner enters new regions across the western USA — nine major events, steady growth, and new brand partners raising the Green Banner

Event Manager

Kicker’s experience as the organizer for countless massive 40K events, combined with his ridiculous amount of positive energy, ensures every Green Banner event is run professionally and every attendee has an amazing time.

Anthony Cohen

Operations Manager

Anthony is a craftsman, entrepreneur, and maker in the tabletop wargaming community, best known as the founder and creator behind J15 Games. Through the J15 and Green Banner partnership, he plays a pivotal role in supporting competitive play, creating custom prizes, and building inclusive, player-first communities.

Jason McKenzie

Head Judge

Jason is Green Banner’s Head Judge, with more than 18 years in tabletop wargaming and an extensive background in competitive Warhammer 40K. On the battlefield or answering a judge call, his friendly attitude is always ready to lend a helping hand.

Stephen Corrales

Showrunner

Stephen is a wargamer, a veteran, and an entrepreneur. He found his love for tabletop wargaming during the pandemic, and that fire helped dream Green Banner Event Co. into life. Catch him front and center at every event, elevating the experience state to state.

Bart spent two years painting minis before he worked up the nerve to actually play a game — seven years of brushwork, five of rolling dice, zero regrets. Find him at the paint tables talking Sisters of Battle lists, insisting Pro Acryl Jade is the only color that matters, and defending black olives as the correct pizza topping.
