The Silver State Classic
The Silver State Classic is Green Banner’s evolution of the Silver State Major and a way to help grow the awesome community of players in Reno, Nevada. While players from everywhere are invited, this tournament was created for the locals who wanted an event set to Green Banner’s high standards — top judging, quality awards, and a fun vibe that ensures everyone is having a good time!
Comic Kingdom was chosen to host for their support of the local player base and their practical location in the region — great lighting, plenty of space, and a helpful team of staff. The Peppermill Casino Resort sits directly across the street for lodging, plus a bar for lunch breaks and after the day’s rounds wrap. The event is run alongside local organizers Matt Kulak and Chris Forkner.
As with all Green Banner events, you can expect a competitive, fair, and professionally run tournament — no surprises, no luck, just competition. But the Silver State Classic leans into the very friendly nature the local players are known for. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to come play, have fun, and test themselves in a positive environment through the whole weekend.

Yes, all models must be painted to a 3-color minimum. We will have Best Painted judging for those who want to compete for painting awards.

Full refunds are available up to the posted deadline. After that, tickets can be transferred to another player but not refunded.
How do pairings work?
Round 1 is random seeding. Later rounds use Swiss pairings based on battle points, with opponent history taken into account.
